بَابُ فَضْلِ خَدِيجَةَ بِنْتِ خُوَيْلِدٍ زَوْجَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -
The virtue of Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يُكْثِرُ ذِكْرَ خَدِيجَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا أَكْثَرَ مَا تُكْثِرُ مِنْ ذِكْرِ خَدِيجَةَ ، وَقَدْ أَخْلَفَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَكَ مِنْ عَجُوزٍ حَمْرَاءِ الشِّدْقَيْنِ ، وَقَدْ هَلَكَتْ فِي دَهْرٍ ؟ ! فَغَضِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - غَضَبًا مَا رَأَيْتُهُ غَضِبَ مِثْلَهُ قَطُّ وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَزَقَهَا مِنِّي مَا لَمْ يَرْزُقْ أَحَدًا مِنْكُنَّ " . قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، اعْفُ عَنِّي ، وَاللَّهِ لَا تَسْمَعُنِي أَذْكُرُ خَدِيجَةَ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ بِشَيْءٍ تَكْرَهُهُ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) often. I said: "Why is it that you keep mentioning Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) so often, when Allah Almighty has given you other wives in place of that old woman with red lips, and a long time has passed since that woman died?" Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became angry; I had never seen him so angry. He said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty granted her from me what He has not granted any of you." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Forgive me. By Allah! After this day you will not hear me mention Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) in any way that you dislike."
