Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), since she had passed away before the obligations and rulings were revealed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw her by a river of Paradise, in a house made of hollow pearl in which there is no noise and no hardship." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was also asked about Abu Talib: "Have you benefited him in any way?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I brought him out of Hell to its shallowest part."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir in abridged form. The narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih, except Mujalid bin Sa'id, and he has been declared trustworthy, especially in the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).
