وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " شَرُّ الْبَيْتِ الْحَمَّامُ ; تُرْفَعُ فِيهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ ، وَتُكْشَفُ فِيهِ الْعَوْرَاتُ " فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، يُدَاوَى فِيهِ الْمَرِيضُ ، وَيَذْهَبُ الْوَسَخُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " فَمَنْ دَخْلَهُ فَلَا يَدْخُلْهُ إِلَّا مُسْتَتِرًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ السَّمْتِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ السَّمْتِيُّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst house is the bathhouse (hammam): voices are raised in it, and private parts are uncovered." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! It brings relief to the sick and removes dirt." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever enters it should not enter it without being covered."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Uthman al-Samti, whom Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared "da'if" (weak), while Abu Hatim and Ibn Hibban declared him "thiqah" (trustworthy). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the "Sahih".
