بَابٌ مِنْهُ فِي فَضْلِهَا وَتَزْوِيجِهَا بِعَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا -

وَعَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ : كَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ أَصْغَرَ وَلَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَأَحَبَّهُنَّ إِلَيْهِ . وَزَعَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ أَنَّ رُقَيَّةَ أَصْغَرَ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ إِلَى ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Ibn Jurayj states: More than one person told me that Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was the youngest of the children of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the most beloved of them to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar holds that Sayyidah Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was younger than Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her).
