وَعَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ كَسْفَةً حَتَّى بَدَتِ الْكَوَاكِبُ نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ ، حَتَّى ظَنَّنَا أَنَّهَا هِيَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Abu Qabil said: When Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) was martyred, the sun was eclipsed, so much so that the stars became visible at midday, and we thought that it was the very thing (the Hour).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
