وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ : مَا رُفِعَ بِالشَّامِ حَجَرٌ يَوْمَ قَتْلِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ إِلَّا عَنْ دَمٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Al-Zuhri said: On the day of the martyrdom of Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both), no stone was lifted in Sham except that there was blood beneath it.
