وَعَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ الْحُسَيْنَ أَوَّلَ رَأْسٍ حُمِلَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Imam al-Sha'bi said: The head of Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) is the first head in Islam that was carried (from place to place).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Waqidi, who is da'if (weak).
