وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا أُتِيَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ بِرَأْسِ الْحُسَيْنِ ، جَعَلَ يَنْكُتُ بِالْقَضِيبِ ثَنَايَاهُ يَقُولُ : لَقَدْ كَانَ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ - جَمِيلًا ، فَقُلْتُ : وَاللَّهِ لَأُسَوِّءَنَّكَ ، إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَلْثِمُ حَيْثُ يَقَعُ قَضِيبُكَ . قَالَ : فَانْقَبَضَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُهُ وُثِّقُوا .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the head of Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought to Ubaydullah bin Ziyad, he began tapping his front teeth with a stick and saying: "He was very handsome." The narrator says: I said: "By Allah, I will make you regret your deed, for I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kissing the place where you are striking with the stick." The narrator says: So he drew back his hand.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it with various chains, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
