عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا يَمَسَّ الْقُرْآنَ إِلَّا طَاهِرٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one shall touch the Qur'an except one who is pure."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
