وَعَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ : هَلَكَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ . قَالَ : هَكَذَا قَالَ الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ وَخُولِفَ .
Al-Haytham bin Adi narrates: Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) passed away in the year 44 AH. The narrator says: Al-Haytham bin Adi stated it thus, but the contrary has also been reported.
