Majma al-Zawaid 15025 — The virtue of the Ahl al-Bayt
وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ الْأَكْوَعِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " النُّجُومُ جُعِلَتْ أَمَانًا لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ ، وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ بَيْتِي أَمَانٌ لِأُمَّتِي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ الرَّبَذِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The stars are a safety for the inhabitants of the heavens, and my household (Ahl al-Bayt) is a safety for my Ummah."
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Musa bin Ubaydah al-Rabadhi, who is matruk (abandoned).
