Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I went out wanting to meet Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). I was told that he was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so I went towards them. I found them in a shelter made of reeds: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was there, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was there, Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was there, Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) was there, and Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was there. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered them under a cloth and then made this supplication: "O Allah! Send down Your blessings, Your mercy, Your forgiveness and Your good pleasure upon me and upon them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Rabi'ah al-Rahabi, who is matruk (abandoned).
