بَابٌ جَامِعٌ فِي مَنَاقِبِهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .

وَعَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ : مَاتَ سَعْدٌ بِالْعَقِيقِ فِي قَصْرِهِ عَلَى عَشَرَةِ أَمْيَالٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَحُمِلَ عَلَى رِقَابِ الرِّجَالِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ .
وَيُقَالُ : تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
وَيُقَالُ : تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Zubayr bin Bakkar narrates: Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away at al-Aqiq in his house, which was ten miles from Madinah, and people carried his body on their shoulders to Madinah. It is said that when he passed away he was over seventy years old.
