وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ : أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِسَهْمٍ ؛ رَمَى بِهِ سَعْدٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The first arrow shot alongside the Messenger of Allah was shot by Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him).
