وَعَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ : أَسْلَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ ، وَقُتِلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Hisham bin Urwah narrates: When Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, he was sixteen years old, and when he was martyred he was a little over sixty years old.
