عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ : طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ تَيْمِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، وَكَانَ بِالشَّامِ ، فَقَدِمَ وَكَلَّمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي سَهْمِهِ فَضَرَبَ لَهُ سَهْمَهُ قَالَ : وَأَجْرِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَأَجْرُكَ " . يَعْنِي يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ حَسَنُ الْإِسْنَادِ .

Urwah narrates: (His name and lineage are:) "Talhah bin Ubaydullah bin Uthman bin Amr bin Ka'b bin Sa'd bin Taym bin Murrah." Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) was in Syria; he came and spoke to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about his share, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted him his share. He said: "O Messenger of Allah! And my reward?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will have your reward too." The narrator says: This means that it happened on the occasion of the Battle of Badr.
