عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا عَلِيُّ ، مَعَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَصًا مِنْ عِصِيِّ الْجَنَّةِ ، تَذُودُ بِهَا الْمُنَافِقِينَ عَنْ حَوْضِي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سَلَّامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ وَزَيْدٌ الْعَمِّيُّ ، وَهُمَا ضَعِيفَانِ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِمَا ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سَلَّامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ وَزَيْدٌ الْعَمِّيُّ ، وَهُمَا ضَعِيفَانِ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِمَا ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Ali, on the Day of Resurrection you will have with you one of the staffs of Paradise, with which you will drive the hypocrites away from my Pool."
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Sallam bin Sulayman al-Mada'ini, and a narrator, Zayd al-Ammi; both of them are da'if (weak), though both have been declared trustworthy. The rest of the narrators of both are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Sallam bin Sulayman al-Mada'ini, and a narrator, Zayd al-Ammi; both of them are da'if (weak), though both have been declared trustworthy. The rest of the narrators of both are thiqat (trustworthy).
