عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - حِينَ رَجَعْتُ مِنْ جِنَازَةٍ قَوْلًا مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بِهِ الدُّنْيَا جَمِيعًا .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو حَرِيزٍ وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ الْمَدِينِي وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو حَرِيزٍ وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ الْمَدِينِي وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When I returned from a funeral, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said something to me that I would not exchange even for the whole world.
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Abu Hariz, whom Abu Zur'ah and others declared thiqah (trustworthy) and Ibn al-Madini and others declared da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
