وَعَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ لِعَلِيٍّ : " اللَّهُ زَيَّنَكَ بِزِينَةٍ لَمْ يُزَيِّنِ الْعِبَادَ بِزِينَةٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْهَا ، وَهِيَ زِينَةُ الْأَبْرَارِ : الزُّهْدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، جَعَلَكَ لَا تَمْلِكُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا شَيْئًا ، وَجَعَلَهَا لَا تَنَالُ مِنْكَ شَيْئًا ، وَوَهَبَ لَكَ حُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ جُمَيْعٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Allah Almighty has adorned you with an adornment such that He has not adorned His servants with any adornment dearer to Him than it (the adornment with which He has adorned you). It is the adornment of the righteous, and it is detachment from the world. He has made you such that you will not own anything of the world, and He has made the world such that it will not be able to take anything from you; and He has gifted you love for the poor."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Amr bin Jumay', who is matruk (abandoned).
