بَابُ مَنْزِلَتِهِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .

Majma al-Zawaid 14647 — The rank and standing of Ali
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ : " أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى ؟ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي وَلَا وِرَاثَةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَفِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَبْدُ الْغَفُورِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَفِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَبْدُ الْغَفُورِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Are you not pleased to be to me as Sayyiduna Harun (peace be upon him) was to Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him), except that there is no prophethood after me, and no inheritance?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The chain in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir contains Yahya bin Ya'la al-Aslami, who is da'if (weak), and the chain in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat contains Abd al-Ghafur, who is matruk (abandoned).
