It is reported from Amr bin Dhi Murr, Sa'id bin Wahb and Zayd bin Yuthay' that they said: We heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I ask, by Allah, the man who heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speak on the day of Ghadir Khumm to stand up. Thirteen men stood up and testified that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said: Am I not closer to the believers than their own selves? The people said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of the hand of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Whoever's mawla I am, this one too is his mawla. O Allah, love whoever loves him and be hostile to whoever is hostile to him; love whoever loves him, and detest whoever detests him; help whoever helps him, and forsake whoever tries to forsake him."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Fitr bin Khalifah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
