بَابُ إِسْلَامِهِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : بُعِثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ ، وَأَسْلَمْتُ يَوْمَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ الْمُلَائِيُّ وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ .

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent as a prophet on a Monday, and I accepted Islam on the Tuesday.
