وَعَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، أَبْيَضَ اللِّحْيَةِ ، قَدْ مَلَأَتْ مَا بَيْنَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ .
زَادَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : عَلَى رَأْسِهِ زُغَيْبَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
زَادَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : عَلَى رَأْسِهِ زُغَيْبَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Imam al-Sha'bi narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) on the pulpit; his beard was white, and it had filled his chest. Yahya bin Sa'id recorded these words in his narration: There were a few sparse hairs on his head.
