Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1455

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person becomes bare (i.e. separated from the angels) in four situations: when he sleeps lying on his back, when he is alone, when he sleeps in a safflower-dyed (mu'asfar) wrap, or when he bathes in an open place. Whoever is able should not bathe in an open place; and if he must do so, he should draw a line on the ground."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Marwan bin Salim, who is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected).
