In one narration the wording is: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was leaning against me.
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, except that he narrated it with this wording: Umm Kulthum bint Thumamah al-Hinti states: Her brother al-Mukhariq bin Thumamah al-Hinti said to her: "Go to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and convey my greetings of peace to her." I went to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: "One of your sons has sent you his greetings of peace." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "And upon him be peace, and the mercy of Allah Almighty and His blessings." I said: "He wants to ask you to tell him about Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), because the people (among us) have been saying a great deal against him since he was martyred." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "As for me, I bear witness that Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) was present in this very house, and the Prophet of Allah was present. Sayyiduna Jibril was present; he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a scorching hot night. When revelation descended upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it would be a cause of heaviness for him, because Allah Almighty has said: 'We shall cast upon you a weighty word.'" After this the narrator mentioned the hadith as before. I do not know the female narrator named Umm Kulthum; the rest of al-Tabarani's narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
