Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman from the Ansar asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about a woman who sees in her dream what a man sees. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman sees this, she should perform a ritual bath (ghusl)." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O so-and-so! You have embarrassed the women." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave her be! The women of the Ansar ask about religious rulings."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Ubayd al-Tufawi, who is da'if (weak); it has also been said about him that he merely commits tadlis (concealment in the chain), and
he narrated this report with 'an'anah (using "from").
