Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 14507

It is reported about al-Hasan that, mentioning Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) and his intense modesty, he said: Sometimes he would be in the house with the door closed, yet even while bathing he would not remove the cloth from his body; modesty prevented him from straightening his back.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
