عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ الْقُرَشِيِّ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - دَخَلَ عَلَى ابْنَتِهِ وَهِيَ تَغْسِلُ رَأْسَ عُثْمَانَ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا بُنَيَّةُ ، أَحْسِنِي إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ; فَإِنَّهُ أَشْبَهُ أَصْحَابِي بِي خُلُقًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Uthman al-Qurashi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to his daughter while she was washing the head of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O my daughter! Treat Abu Abdullah well, for among my Companions he is the one who most resembles me in character.
