The death of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)
Majma al-Zawaid 14475 — The death of Umar
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ مَوْتَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، فَانْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Abd al-Rahman bin Yasar narrates: I was present at the death of Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and on that day there was an eclipse of the sun.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
