بَابُ حُضُورِهِ لِتَنْزِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ .

عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لَنَا يَوْمًا : " إِنِّي قَدْ قِيلَ لِي : اقْرَأْ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ " . فَدَعَاهُ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ إِذَا نَزَلَ لِيَقْرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْبَزَّارِ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْبَزَّارِ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: I have been told: Recite before Umar bin al-Khattab. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and ordered him that whenever any verse of the Qur'an was revealed, he should learn it and then recite it before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Imam al-Tabarani and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it. The chain of Imam al-Tabarani contains narrators whom I do not know, and the chain of Imam al-Bazzar is da'if (weak).
