Majma al-Zawaid 1445 — The saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "Water"

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about a man who has intercourse with a woman and does not ejaculate. He said: "When I face such a situation with my wife, I take a ritual bath (ghusl)." The narrator said: Sufyan and a group of the people of knowledge hold that the ritual bath is (required).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
