بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ " .

Majma al-Zawaid 14433 — The saying of the Prophet ﷺ: If there
عَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ لَكَانَ عُمَرَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would have been Umar."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Fadl bin al-Mukhtar, who is da'if (weak).
