وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ : كَانَ عُمَرُ أَصْلَعَ شَدِيدَ الصَّلَعِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي الْخِضَابِ بَعْضُ صِفَاتِهِ وَصِفَاتِ غَيْرِهِ .

Sa'id bin al-Musayyib narrates: The hair of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was completely gone from the front of his head.
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. Some of his features and those of others have already been described earlier in the chapter on dyeing the hair (khidab).
