بَابٌ فِيمَا وَرَدَ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ، وَغَيْرِهِمَا مِنَ الْخُلَفَاءِ ، وَغَيْرِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى يَرَاهُمْ مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تُرَى الْكَوَاكِبُ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ مِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعَمَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The people of the high ranks (in Paradise) will be seen by those below them just as the stars are seen on the horizon of the sky, and Abu Bakr and Umar are among them (the people of the high ranks), and how excellent they are!"
Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Rabi' bin Sahl al-Wasiti, whom I do not know. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
