اُردوEn
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ عِنْدَهُ : خَطَبَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ الْبَصْرَةِ حِينَ ظَهَرَ عَلِيٌّ ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ : هَذَا الْخَطِيبُ الشَّحْشَحُ . وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ .
In a narration recorded by him, the words are: On the day of (the Battle of) Basrah a man delivered a sermon; this was at the time when Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had gained the upper hand. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This is an eloquent orator." Then the narrator mentioned the narration as before.
