Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 14358

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to sit with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as though birds were perched on our heads. None of us would speak; only Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would speak.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Rahmah bin Mus'ab, who is da'if (weak).
