بَابٌ فِي رُؤْيَا الْعَبَّاسِ .

عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّ الْأَرْضَ تُنْزَعُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ بِأَشْطَانٍ شِدَادٍ ، فَقَصَصْتُ ذَلِكَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " ذَاكَ وَفَاةُ ابْنِ أَخِيكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُمَا ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw in a dream as if the earth were being lifted towards the sky by long ropes. I related this dream to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is the passing of your nephew."
