وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَرْكَبُ حِمَارًا اسْمُهُ : عُفَيْرٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The donkey which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to ride was named "Ufayr".
