بَابٌ فِي مُعْجِزَاتِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي الْحَيَوَانَاتِ ، وَالشَّجَرِ ، وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ .

وَبِسَنَدِهِ عَنْ مُرَّةَ قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي سَفَرٍ ، فَنَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فَقَالَ : " ائْتِ تِلْكَ الْأَشَايَتَيْنِ ، فَقُلْ لَهُمَا : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَأْمُرُكُمَا أَنْ تَجْتَمِعَا " . فَأَتَيْتُهُمَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُمَا ، فَوَثَبَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا إِلَى الْأُخْرَى فَاجْتَمَعَتَا ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَاسْتَتَرَ بِهِمَا ، فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ ، ثُمَّ وَثَبَتْ كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا إِلَى مَكَانِهَا .

With the same chain, it is transmitted from Sayyiduna Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he narrates: "I was travelling with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He camped at a place and said to me: 'Go to those two small trees and say to them: The Messenger of Allah commands you both to come together.' I came to those two trees and said this to them, and one of them moved towards the other, and the two of them came together. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went and relieved himself behind the cover of the two of them. Then each of them (the trees) went back to its place."
