Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw three things concerning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which no one saw before me, nor will anyone see after me. I was going on a journey with him. When we reached a certain place on the way, we passed by a seated woman who had her child with her. She said: "O Messenger of Allah! An affliction has befallen this child, and we are facing a trial because of him. He has fits many times a day; I do not know how many times." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hand him to me." The woman lifted the child and held him out to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed him between himself and the middle of his saddle. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) opened his mouth and blew into his mouth three times, and then said: "With the name of Allah Almighty, seeking blessing; I am the servant of Allah. O enemy of Allah, be gone!" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) handed that child to the woman and said: "Meet us at this same place on our return and tell us how he is." The narrator says: We departed from there. When we came back, we found that woman at the same place, and she had three goats with her. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "How is your child?" She said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, from then until now we have not noticed anything (of that) in him. Please accept these goats." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said (to me): "Dismount and take one goat from them and return the rest." The narrator narrates: Once I went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) towards an open plain, until, when we came near the place where people relieve themselves, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Look whether you see anything that can serve as a screen for me." I said: "I do not see anything that can serve as a screen for you, except that there is a tree which I think could be a cover for you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is near it?" I replied: "It is a tree, and there is another tree like it (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) there is another tree near it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go to the two of them and say to them that the Messenger of Allah commands you both to come together by the permission of Allah." The narrator says: The two of them came together, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) relieved himself there. Then he came back and said: "Go to the two of them and say to them that the Messenger of Allah commands that each one of you return to its place." So they returned. The narrator narrates: Once I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a camel came and laid its neck down before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then tears began to flow from its eyes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Find out whose camel this is; it seems to have some particular matter." I went out to look for the owner of the camel, and I found that he was a man from the Ansar. I called him and brought him to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is the matter with this camel of yours?" He asked: "What is the matter with it?" He said: "By Allah! I do not know what the matter with it is. We have kept using it for work and carrying water on it, until it was no longer able to carry water; so yesterday we decided that we would slaughter it and divide its meat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do that! Give it to me as a gift, or sell it to me." He said: "O Messenger of Allah! It is yours." The narrator says: So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had the special mark of sadaqah placed on it and sent it off.
