وَعَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ بِهِ جُدَرِيٌّ ، فَأَمَرَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَقُرِّبَ تُرَابٌ فِي طَسْتٍ أَوْ تَوْرٍ ، فَمَسَحَ بِالتُّرَابِ .
وَفِيهِ أَبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Alqamah narrates: A man had smallpox (judari, a skin disease). On the order of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), dust was then brought in a basin or a vessel, and he would wipe with the dust.
