وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : " أُمِرْتُ بِرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى وَلَمْ تُؤْمَرُوا بِهَا ، وَأُمِرْتُ بِالضُّحَى وَلَمْ تُكْتَبْ " .
In one narration the words are: "I have been commanded to pray the two rak'ahs of Duha (the forenoon prayer), and you have not been commanded to do so; and I have been commanded to offer sacrifice, and it has not been made obligatory upon you."
