عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " كُتِبَ عَلَيَّ الْنَّحْرُ وَلَمْ يُكْتَبْ عَلَيْكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Sacrifice has been made obligatory upon me, but it has not been made obligatory upon you."
