Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left us in such a state that there was no bird moving its wings in the sky except that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had mentioned some knowledge to us concerning it.
Imam Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and (al-Tabarani) added these words: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There remains nothing that brings one closer to Paradise and keeps one away from Hell except that it has been made clear to you." Al-Tabarani's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri, and he is thiqah (trustworthy); in Imam Ahmad's chain there is a narrator who has not been named.
