Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13968

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have been given the keys to everything, except for five things (which are mentioned in the Qur'an in these words): 'Indeed, with Allah Almighty alone is the knowledge of the Hour; He sends down the rain; He knows what is in the wombs; no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow; and no one knows in what land he will die. Indeed, Allah Almighty is All-Knowing, All-Aware.'" (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is mentioned in the Sahih, in which it is stated that the keys of the unseen are five.
Imam Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and Imam Ahmad's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
