وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ : إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ خَلِيقَةِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالُوا : رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ ، الْمَلَائِكَةُ ؟ فَقَالَ : إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ خَلِيقَةِ اللَّهِ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) says: On the Day of Resurrection, the most honoured of His creation in the court of Allah Almighty will be Sayyiduna Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him). The people said: May Allah have mercy on you, what about the angels? He said: The most honoured of all creation in the sight of Allah Almighty is Sayyiduna Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Talhah al-Yarbu'i, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) called da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
