بَابُ قِدَمِ نُبُوَّتِهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Majma al-Zawaid 13848 — The antiquity of the prophethood
وَعَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ الْفَجْرِ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَتَى كُتِبْتَ نَبِيًّا ؟ قَالَ : " وَآدَمُ بَيْنَ الرُّوحِ وَالْجَسَدِ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Maysarah al-Fajr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, when was your being a prophet recorded?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) was between the soul and the body."
