Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13736

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek good with the merciful people of my Ummah, and live under their shelter! Do not seek that good with those whose hearts are hard, for they await my displeasure."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Marwan al-Suddi al-Saghir, who is matruk (abandoned).
