Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not have one of three things in him will not reap anything from his deeds: piety that keeps him away from disobeying Allah Almighty, or forbearance with which he restrains a foolish person, or good character with which he lives among people." the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "Whoever has one of three things in him, Allah Almighty will marry him to one of the wide-eyed maidens (hur al-'in): whoever has a hidden trust that he craves and returns it out of fear of Allah Almighty; or one who forgives his killer (forgoing retaliation); or one who recites Surah al-Ikhlas after every prayer."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Irq, and al-Dhahabi declared him da'if (weak).
