وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى خَيْرِ أَخْلَاقِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ؟ مَنْ وَصَلَ مَنْ قَطَعَهُ ، وَعَفَا عَمَّنْ ظَلَمَهُ ، وَأَعْطَى مَنْ حَرَمَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ السُّحَيْمِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ . وَرَوَاهُ مُرْسَلًا وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not guide you to the best character of this world and the Hereafter? It is the one who keeps ties with the person who cuts him off, overlooks the one who wrongs him, and gives to the one who deprives him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Jabir al-Suhaymi, who is matruk (abandoned). He also recorded it as a mursal narration, and its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
